APPLICATION

For young plants and trees to thrive, they must receive adequate irrigation and a steady exchange of oxygen across all levels of the root zone. This encourages roots to grow deep and remain safely below ground, allowing plants to become strong and fully established.

The Alwasail® Root Watering System (RWS) allows vital water, air, and nutrients to bypass compacted soil and directly reach tree and shrub root systems. Its pre-assembled irrigation components facilitate ground installation to depths of 36” (91.4 cm) for the RWS, 18” (45.7 cm) for the RWS-Mini, and 10” (25.4 cm) for the RWS-Supplemental. This system is designed for use with water dispensing devices, such as a bubbler head or an emitter. Users can customize the system to meet their specific irrigation requirements or opt for a version with a pre-installed bubbler.

HOW TO USE IT?

Positioning: Position units evenly spaced, adjacent to the root zone, and within the canopy of the tree.
Filling Canisters: Consider filling canisters with pea gravel to provide better top-to-bottom water dispersion and firmness against root compression.
Dual Perimeters for Long-Term Growth: For promoting long-term deep and broad roots, consider installing two Root Watering System perimeters on separate zones—running the inner zone for the first couple of years and the outer zone in subsequent years.

Preconfigured for Easy Installation: The system comes ready to install with swing assemblies or spiral barbed fittings, saving time and ensuring flexibility for different tree and shrub sizes.
Versatile Bubblers: Bubblers on the 18″ (45.7 cm) and 36″ (91.4 cm) models can be swapped out for drip emitters, turning the system into a drip distribution hub.
Drip System Indicator (Optional): An optional indicator can show when the RWS is actively irrigating.

Circumferential Watering Feature: Water flows evenly along the perforated cylinder, ensuring consistent soil moisture along its length.
Dedicated Watering Zone: For best results, install RWS units in their own watering zone to optimize irrigation efficiency and management.
